Polished Steel 316L

Polished Steel 316L

Steel 316L grade is a low carbon version of stainless steel 316. It is used in marine outdoor furniture because its excellent corrosion resistance. The polished finish is also a strong anti-corrosion protection.

Titanium / Grey High Gloss

This metal is unique for its strength’s characteristic (45% less weight than steel) with advantages of being anti-corrosion and non-magnetic. Lacquered titanium is a special finishing, obtained by a complete nautical painting cycle.

It is a tropical wood with natural long durability used where weather resistance is desired. It is moderately hard and heavy with low rigidity and high shock resistance, suitable for outdoor furniture. The waterseals finish is a protective agent maintaining the natural color and a matte visual appearance.

Ebony Macassar / High Gloss

It is a very precious heavy and hard wood with a striped appearance reddish brown with darker brown or black stripes. Grain is usually straight, fine uniform texture and good natural luster. It is a traditional nautical handcrafted wood carpentry, used as tables or consoles top or as part of seating in the Vaar collection. Grating is usually handcrafted in teak, but it’s possible to realize it in mahogany or others custom wood.

Marquetry

It is a handcrafted very precious decorative technique where wood veneers are sawn into different patterns and assembled like a jigsaw. Vaar marquetry is used as tables and consoles luxury top. It’s possible to realize custom design marquetry in bespoke project.

STONES

Belgian Black Marble

It is a very consistent and refined natural stone from Belgium, suitable for interior furniture as Vaar tables and consoles luxury top. The polished finish is the best one to express the marble qualities.

Lavagna Stone

It is selected in Lavagna, in the North West of Italy. The process, from quarrying suitable stones from their rock beds to finishing production, is carried out according to the stone craftsmanship tradition. Treated with anti-stain products, the slate slabs are suitable for interiors and outdoor furniture top.

Cardoso Stone

It is a sandstone quarried in Italy in the Apuan Alps. Gray color with light shades, it is fine natural material. Treated with anti-stain products, it is suitable for interiors and outdoor furniture top.

SOFT MATERIALS

Marine Leather / plain

The choice of Xtreme plain marine leather for furniture and interior design upholstery project is due to the good water resistant and light fastness of this luxury soft material. Besides sand, the color chart presents many different colors. The upholstery is hand stitched.
